I grew up in the Iowa City area and attended the University of Northern Iowa for my undergraduate studies, where I was a five-year member of the softball team and majored in Political Science. I moved back to Iowa City in the fall of 2021 to begin law school at the University of Iowa. While in law school, I participated in appellate advocacy, mock trial, and journal, holding a board member position on the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice during my third year. Through summer internships and field placements, I developed a strong interest in litigation and health law. In May 2024, I graduated from Iowa Law and passed the Iowa Bar Exam a few months later.
I began working for Hayes Lorenzen Biderman Lawyers PLC as a law clerk in my final year of law school. After graduating and being sworn into the Iowa bar, I started as an Associate Attorney, assisting with the firm’s litigation matters. As a young attorney, it is an incredible privilege to learn from and work with attorneys who have decades of trial and litigation experience. The firm’s complex caseload and commitment to mentoring has provided me with the unique opportunity to be challenged and develop as an attorney while representing real people.
